...living on the rooftop!

Here’s something that could only happen in Berlin!
I lived there for one year, and I used to hear stories about having breakfast on the rooftops every Sundays, about having cool parties there in the summer…
That happened because the majority of the buildings had no owner after the fall of the wall.
Almost every teenager of the ex-west side of Berlin went to live on the ex-east side and lived in little communities of friends that where like the owners of the buildings.
As the rooftops of Berlin are all plain and as the teenage of almost everyone in Berlin were passed on the rooftops, I guess they have just other perspective of live.
I would love to spend a time on the rooftop of a city!
